Step-In!

Your voice, alongside each other. Our stories are not ours alone — and soon we feel part of something larger.

setting up in the moment

A quilted booth set up in the moment. A street sign: STORY? STEP IN. Some stand, some sit on a small stool. People walk by. Some stop. Some step inside.

Inside, it's quiet — a place to hear yourself in the middle of all the noise outside. A nudge, a prompt, just enough to wake up a thought.

You might feel awkward at first. But comfort arrives. And when you hear others share, something shifts — you realize your story connects to theirs. Each voice woven into a chorus. We're not alone in this.

Most people arrive unsure of what they want to say. That's okay. Some of the most beautiful stories come from people who thought they had nothing to share.

A memory surfaces. A question. A feeling that's been waiting for permission. You don't need to know what it is before you step in. You just need to be willing to find out.

And when you do, you join the others who've stepped in before you — part of a growing collection of voices, a community built one story at a time.

A few things you might want to know.

You don't need to prepare.

In fact, it's better if you don't. The stories that land the deepest usually arrive without rehearsal.

It's only shared if you want it to be.

Some stories become podcast episodes. Some stay between us. You choose. You can always change your mind.

You can also just come and listen.

The booth is for sharing, but the space around it is for everyone. Witnessing is its own kind of participation.

Where to find the booth.
