Sometimes it isn’t a visual. Sometimes it isn’t written on a page or in a notebook. Sometimes it isn’t even a formal face-to-face conversation. Sometimes it’s simply a discussion—a chance to listen, absorb, and engage.

Write Up the Coast began with an idea that came from many places: to share what one person has to say from one place with someone somewhere else.

Sometimes, with permission, I walk around an event with a microphone—catching people while they’re engaged, curious, and ready to share.

It isn’t about absolute polish. It’s about organic presentation—the hiccups, the ums, the static, the unexpected turns, and the natural voice. It’s about the enthusiasm and passion to keep sharing.

I produce it in Anchor Bay, California, in a little office studio—a spare room filled with clutter, books, and ideas.
